Rainforestation Nature Park is an attraction near Cairns, set within the tropical rainforest of the Atherton Tablelands along Kennedy Highway, Queensland. The park brings together three distinct experiences in one visit: the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience, an Army Duck Tour through the rainforest, and a Koala and Wildlife Park. Visits run for approximately three hours, making it a substantial half-day outing from Cairns attractions and the surrounding region.
The Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience includes a Dreamtime Walk and a traditional dance performance, with opportunities to handle a boomerang and hear the didgeridoo. The Army Duck Tour uses an amphibious military vehicle to move through the rainforest terrain, offering a different vantage point on the canopy and waterways. The Wildlife Park is home to koalas, cassowaries, and a range of Australian marsupials, with keeper talks and shows included. Admission covers entry to the park and all scheduled talks and shows within the Wildlife Park; the Pamagirri Experience, Army Duck Tour, and Australian Butterfly Sanctuary are each available as selectable additions. Lunch is not included but can be purchased at the on-site Tree House Cafe. The park is wheelchair accessible, and a cancellation policy applies based on the date of the booking.
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the experience.
