Port Douglas Wildlife Habitat is an open-air wildlife attraction in Port Douglas, Queensland, giving visitors direct access to native Australian animals across a series of themed enclosures and walkways. Entry covers up to five consecutive days, so there is no need to rush through the grounds in a single visit. The habitat sits along Port Douglas Road and is a short drive from Cairns attractions along the coastal highway, making it a practical add-on for anyone based further south.

Inside, the grounds include the Pathway of Pythons, wetlands housing saltwater crocodiles, and aviaries with cassowaries, lorikeets, and finches. Visitors can hold a koala, a python, and a crocodile as part of the standard programme, and the spotted-tail quoll and endangered mahogany glider are among the less familiar residents worth seeking out. An optional Breakfast with the Birds dining session is available with vegetarian choices. Tickets cover entrance for up to five days, access to all standard tours and animal presentations, and free on-site parking. Private wildlife experiences and photo packages are available separately. The habitat is fully wheelchair accessible and a typical visit runs around two hours.
