The tour runs for approximately 14 hours and departs from Place du Général Kœnig in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.

The D-Day landings involved more than 156,000 Allied troops crossing the English Channel to assault five designated beaches along a 50-mile stretch of the Normandy coastline. Utah Beach was the westernmost of the American sectors, and Pointe du Hoc, the clifftop battery between Utah and Omaha, was scaled by US Army Rangers under fire on the morning of the assault. The Normandy American Cemetery holds the graves of 9,388 American military personnel.

What to expect

Guests travel by air-conditioned coach and receive a headset to follow the guide's commentary throughout the day. Admission to the Utah Beach Landing Museum is included, giving access to its collection of vehicles, weapons, and personal accounts from the landings. The group walks Utah Beach itself before moving to Pointe du Hoc, where the original German gun emplacements and shell craters remain largely intact. The US Military Cemetery above Omaha Beach is visited on foot, with views across the beach below.

Midway through the day, the tour stops at a local cider farm for a set lunch that includes one glass of Norman cider. Hotel pick-up and drop-off are not included, and gratuities are optional.
