Vienna: World War II Guided Walking Tour is a 2.5-hour guided tour of central Vienna, tracing the physical and political history of the city during the Second World War. Starting at Albertinaplatz, the tour covers the sites most directly shaped by the conflict, from the circumstances of Austria's annexation in 1938 to the aerial bombardments that destroyed large parts of the city. Vienna, once home to one of the largest Jewish communities in Europe, lost the vast majority of its Jewish population during this period, and the tour addresses that history directly at surviving and destroyed sites across the centre.

With a live guide, visitors walk to the locations of wartime attacks, examine the Soviet Red Army memorial that still stands in the city, and visit the only synagogue in Vienna to survive the war intact, the Stadttempel on Seitenstettengasse, which was spared because its structure was integrated into the surrounding buildings. The route connects architecture, street-level evidence, and documented historical events into a coherent account of how the war unfolded in the city. Tickets cover the guided walk and live commentary for the full 2 hours 30 minutes. Admission to any museums is not included. The tour is wheelchair accessible, and cancellation is accepted before the start of the booked timeslot.
