Museum of the Future

The Museum of the Future stands as one of Dubai's most recognisable landmarks, its torus-shaped steel and glass facade inscribed with Arabic calligraphy drawn from the writings of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Designed by Shaun Killa of Killa Design and engineered by Buro Happold, the building opened in 2022 along Sheikh Zayed Road and was named one of the world's most beautiful museums by National Geographic. Its structure contains no central columns, a feat of engineering that mirrors the institution's forward-looking ambitions.

Inside, the museum presents immersive, narrative-driven experiences across multiple floors, inviting visitors to explore speculative futures for humanity, nature, and technology. Rather than displaying static artefacts, it stages environments that visitors move through and interact with. Current experiences include general admission tickets with a Kids Go Free offer, as well as the Pioneer Pass, which provides skip-the-line entry for those wishing to move through the building at their own pace.
