The Husafell Langjokull Ice Cave Tour departs from the Husafell area in western Iceland, taking small groups onto Langjokull, Iceland's second-largest glacier. The tour uses specially modified glacier vehicles to reach the man-made ice cave tunnel system, which sits roughly 30 metres beneath the glacier surface and stretches several hundred metres into the ice.
Inside the cave, guides cover the formation of glacial ice, the visible annual ice layers, and the blue and white colour variations caused by compressed snow. The route passes through illuminated chambers carved directly into the glacier. Tickets include transport from the Husafell base, glacier vehicle access, and a guided walk through the cave system.
