The Duomo of San Gimignano, formally known as the Collegiata di Santa Maria Assunta, is a Romanesque-Gothic cathedral in the hilltop town of San Gimignano, in the Tuscan province of Siena. Entry with an audio guide gives access to one of the most extensively frescoed interiors in central Italy, with painted cycles covering nearly every surface of the nave. The cathedral's origins date to the 10th century, with its current form consecrated in 1148 and later expanded. Among the highlights are Bartolo di Fredi's Old Testament scenes on the north wall and Barna da Siena's New Testament cycle on the south, alongside a chapel frescoed by Domenico Ghirlandaio. The audio guide, delivered via smartphone, provides commentary on each of these works in sequence.

Visitors follow a self-guided route through the cathedral interior, with the audio guide explaining the iconography, dating, and artists behind the fresco cycles. Tickets can also include entry to the adjoining Museum of Sacred Art, which holds works from the Collegiate and surrounding churches and convents, including sculpture and panel paintings from the 13th century onward.
