Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay is Singapore's landmark horticultural attraction, occupying more than 100 hectares of reclaimed land along the Marina Bay waterfront. Designed by Grant Associates and Wilkinson Eyre Architects, the gardens opened in 2012 and have since become one of the most recognisable skylines in Southeast Asia, defined by the towering Supertree Grove structures that light up after dark. The site sits adjacent to Marina Bay Sands and offers a striking counterpoint to the city's financial district.

The two principal cooled conservatories, the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest, sit at the centre of the gardens. The Flower Dome replicates a cool-dry Mediterranean climate and holds the record as the world's largest glass greenhouse. The Cloud Forest houses a 35-metre indoor mountain draped in tropical highland plants, currently transformed into a Jurassic World experience. Beyond the conservatories, visitors can explore Floral Fantasy, join a guided walking tour of the grounds, take a self-guided outdoor audio tour, or arrange a professional photoshoot among the gardens' distinctive landscapes.
