About Dubai: Indoor DiveTank Experience

The Indoor DiveTank Experience is an introductory scuba diving session held at Dubai Watersports, giving first-timers a controlled, pool-based introduction to breathing and moving underwater. The session takes place in a 4-metre deep indoor tank, removing the variables of open-water conditions while still delivering a genuine dive. PADI fees are included in the booking, and participants receive a completion certificate at the end of the session.

No prior diving certification is required, and you do not need to be a strong swimmer to take part. The session is designed to build foundational underwater skills, covering buoyancy, equalisation, and regulator use, all under the guidance of a private instructor.

What to expect

On arrival at Dubai Watersports, you will be fitted with all necessary scuba equipment, including a wetsuit, BCD, regulator, and fins. A private instructor leads each session, walking you through the core techniques before accompanying you into the tank for a 30 to 45-minute dive. The full experience runs to approximately four hours, accounting for briefing, equipment fitting, the dive itself, and a debrief. Complimentary photos and videos of your dive are included, so no underwater camera is needed. Participants should bring beachwear and a towel; everything else is provided on site.
