JR Kyushu Rail Pass at Fukuoka

The JR Kyushu Rail Pass is a train pass covering the Japan Railways network across Kyushu, the southernmost of Japan's four main islands. The pass grants unlimited travel on JR Kyushu lines, including limited express and shinkansen services on the Kyushu Shinkansen route between Hakata and Kagoshima-Chuo, making it a practical option for travellers covering multiple cities in the region from a base in Tokyo or elsewhere in Japan.

Passholders can travel between major Kyushu destinations including Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Beppu, and Kagoshima without purchasing individual tickets for each leg. The pass is available in area variants covering all of Kyushu or the northern region only, and in durations of three or five days. Booking covers a physical or electronic pass validated for consecutive travel days, and the pass must generally be exchanged at a JR ticket office before first use.
