Segovia: City & Alcázar Guided Tour at Alcázar of Segovia

The Segovia: City and Alcázar Guided Tour is a two-hour Spanish-language walking tour of Segovia, a city designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985. Starting at Plaza Azoguejo 1, the tour opens at the Roman aqueduct, one of the best-preserved Roman structures in Spain, built without mortar and standing over 28 metres at its highest point. From there, the route passes through Romanesque churches and historic neighbourhoods before arriving at the Alcázar, the medieval royal palace that sits on a rocky promontory above the confluence of two rivers and served as one of the primary residences of the monarchs of Castile.
