Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventures is an outdoor attraction in the Southern Highlands, around 90 minutes south of Sydney, offering a 1.5 km loop trail through temperate rainforest. The Treetop Walk follows a steel walkway suspended 20 to 30 metres above the forest floor, giving visitors an elevated perspective on the canopy that is impossible to reach on foot. The trail includes two cantilevered arms that extend out over the treetops and a spiral lookout tower rising 45 metres, from which you can take in views across the green canopy, the surrounding landscape, and Lake Illawarra in the distance. It is one of the more distinctive Sydney attractions within day-trip range of the city.

Along the walkway, visitors can observe native rainforest plants and wildlife in their natural setting, including ferns, mosses, and the bird life that inhabits the canopy layer. The trail is accessible to wheelchair users, making it suitable for a broad range of visitors. Entry tickets cover access to the full 1.5 km loop, use of the cantilevered arms and the 45 m lookout tower, and locker facilities at the starting point on Knights Hill Road. The attraction operates on a dated entry basis, and bookings can be cancelled before the visit date.
