À propos du lieu

À propos de ce lieu

Berlin Trabi-Safari Tours offers one of the city's most distinctive ways to explore the German capital, putting visitors behind the wheel of a Trabant, the iconic two-stroke car that became a symbol of everyday life in the former East Germany. The Trabant, produced from 1957 until 1991, was for decades the standard family vehicle across the GDR, and driving one through reunified Berlin carries a particular historical weight that no conventional tour can replicate.

The current flagship experience, Berlin: Guided Trabi Safari XXL, takes participants on a guided convoy route through the city, passing landmarks that span both sides of the former Iron Curtain. The tour combines the novelty of piloting a piece of Cold War history with informed commentary on Berlin's division, reunification, and transformation into a modern European capital. It is an experience rooted firmly in the city's own story, told from the driver's seat of a machine that millions of East Germans once waited years to own.
