The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is the luxury retail and dining complex integrated into the Marina Bay Sands integrated resort in Singapore. Designed as part of Moshe Safdie's landmark development on the southern waterfront of Marina Bay, the complex sits beneath the iconic SkyPark and connects directly to the hotel towers and the ArtScience Museum. Its architecture features a canal running through the interior, and it is along this indoor waterway that the Sampan Ride operates, offering visitors a boat journey through the shopping floors in traditional-style wooden sampans.

The Sampan Ride is one of the more distinctive leisure experiences within the complex, drawing on the heritage of the bumboat culture that once defined Singapore's river trade.
