What to Expect at Luau Kalamaku

Your evening begins with a traditional fresh flower lei greeting, embodying the aloha spirit. Browse the craft fair where Kauai artisans display handmade jewellery, clothing and local art before the festivities begin. The open bar serves unlimited tropical drinks, local beers and soft drinks throughout the 3.5-hour experience.

The buffet features authentic Hawaiian cuisine including imu-roasted pork cooked in an underground oven, traditional sides and tropical desserts. Vegetarian options are available alongside other dietary choices. The entire dining experience captures the convivial spirit of a classic island feast.

As sunset approaches, live Hawaiian music sets the scene for the cultural show. The performance features hula dancers, fire poi balls, and culminates in an exhilarating fire knife show. After the performance, you can take photos with the cast and continue browsing the artisan market for souvenirs.

Before You Go

Arrive 15 minutes early to explore the craft fair and settle in. The buffet and open bar open at 5pm, with seating upgrades available during booking for preferred views. Wear comfortable island attire and bring a jacket as evenings can be cooler.
