Keukenhof is one of the world's most celebrated flower gardens, set across 32 hectares of parkland near Lisse, a short distance from Amsterdam. Each spring, the grounds are planted with millions of tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, and other bulb flowers arranged in sweeping colour displays that draw visitors from across the globe. The garden takes its name from the kitchen garden that once served Teylingen Castle in the fifteenth century, and the landscape was later redesigned in the nineteenth century by the architects Jan David Zocher and his son Louis Paul Zocher, who also shaped Amsterdam's Vondelpark. Today Keukenhof opens for a limited season each year, typically from mid-March to mid-May, making it a distinctly seasonal destination tied to the Dutch bulb-growing tradition of the surrounding Bollenstreek region.

Visitors arriving from Amsterdam can reach the gardens by roundtrip bus transfer from A'dam Tower, or combine entry with a canal cruise and audio guide for a broader introduction to the Dutch landscape. The garden also features glasshouses with year-round floral displays, sculptures, and a working windmill on the grounds.
