Arrival and timing

The full experience runs for approximately 4 hours, so plan your day accordingly and arrive at the starting point on Camino a Uxuxubi S/N in good time before your slot. Roundtrip transport from hotels in the Tulum to Moon Palace Hotel area is included, so if you are travelling from that corridor, confirm your pick-up details with the operator after booking.

Getting around the venue

The day moves between two distinct settings: the open sanctuary grounds, where you will walk among the animals, and the jungle trail, where you will ride an ATV for a 7 km route each way to the cenote. Helmets and goggles are provided for the ride. Wear clothes and footwear you do not mind getting dusty or muddy, and bring sun protection for the outdoor sections. Purified drinking water is included throughout.

During your visit

• ATV collision insurance is not included but is available on-site for a small fee per vehicle, payable in USD.
• Lockers and photos are not included and can be arranged separately on the day.
• Follow all guide instructions around the animals and on the trail, and keep noise levels calm in the sanctuary area.
• The tour operates in English and Spanish, so let the operator know your preference when you book.
