The Skywalk, opened in 2007, is a horseshoe-shaped glass bridge extending 70 feet beyond the canyon rim, giving a direct view down to the canyon floor roughly 4,000 feet below.

What to expect

On arrival at Grand Canyon West, entry to the Skywalk is included, allowing visitors to walk out over the glass bridge and look directly down to the Colorado River below. Note that the experience is not accessible for wheelchair users.
