Singapore Zoo

Singapore Zoo occupies a sprawling site in the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, set against the backdrop of the Central Catchment Nature Reserve in northern Singapore. Widely regarded as one of the finest open-concept zoos in the world, it houses more than 2,800 animals across some 300 species, many of them threatened. The zoo pioneered the open moat design that replaced traditional caged enclosures, allowing animals to roam in environments that closely replicate their natural habitats while giving visitors an unobstructed view.

Current experiences available through tickadoo include entry tickets with hotel pickup, making the journey from the city straightforward, as well as the Minecraft Experience paired with a full zoo visit, which brings the iconic game's blocky creatures and environments into a live wildlife setting. The zoo sits alongside River Wonders and Bird Paradise within the Mandai precinct, and its long-running Jungle Breakfast with Wildlife remains one of Singapore's most distinctive morning attractions.
