The Dubai Guided eFoil Experience is a 40-minute water sports session run by Dubai Watersports on the waters off The Palm Jumeirah. An eFoil board uses a battery-powered hydrofoil to lift the rider above the surface, combining the sensation of surfing with near-silent electric propulsion. The session is structured for both complete beginners and riders with prior board experience, with qualified instructors on hand throughout.

The Palm Jumeirah setting keeps conditions relatively sheltered, making it a practical location for learning the basics of balance and board control without the chop of open sea. The starting point is Crescent Road, the outer ring road of The Palm.

What to expect

On arrival, instructors run through safety procedures before anyone enters the water. All essential kit is provided: an eFoil board, life jacket, and helmet, along with bottled water for the session. The 40-minute time on the water is guided, meaning an instructor accompanies or coaches riders through the progression from prone paddling to standing and, for those who are ready, lifting onto the foil. Beginners typically spend the first portion of the session getting comfortable on the board before attempting to rise above the surface. Entry covers all listed equipment and the live guide; hotel transfers, swimwear, sunscreen, and a towel are not included and should be arranged separately.

The session operates from Dubai Watersports on Crescent Road, The Palm Jumeirah, accessible by car or the Palm Monorail to the Gateway Stations, followed by a short taxi or ride-share to the outer crescent.
