Muir Woods and Sausalito: Small-Group Tour is a guided day tour from San Francisco covering two of the Bay Area's most visited natural and coastal destinations. Departing from 488 Post Street, the tour crosses the Golden Gate Bridge with a photo stop offering views across the bay toward Alcatraz and the San Francisco skyline. The route continues through the Marin Headlands and past Mount Tamalpais before reaching Muir Woods National Monument, a federal reserve protecting old-growth coastal redwood forest where trees commonly exceed 200 feet in height. The full tour runs approximately five hours and groups are kept small throughout.

At Muir Woods, guests have one hour and fifteen minutes of free time to walk the trails, observe the forest understorey, and visit the on-site gift shop. Entry to the monument is included in the booking. The tour then continues to Sausalito, a waterfront town on the Marin shore known for its hillside architecture and floating houseboat community, where one hour is available to explore the waterfront, cafes, and independent shops. Return transport to San Francisco is included, or guests may opt to return independently by ferry from Sausalito at an additional cost of $14.25. Food, drinks, and driver gratuity are not included.
