Via Natale del Grande

Via Natale del Grande is a street in the Trastevere neighbourhood of Rome, one of the city's oldest and most characterful districts on the west bank of the Tiber. The area developed during the medieval period and retains much of its original street pattern, with narrow cobbled lanes, ochre-coloured facades, and a dense residential fabric that has made Trastevere a reference point for Roman daily life across the centuries.

Today, Via Natale del Grande is home to a pasta and gelato cooking class that draws on the culinary traditions central to Roman and broader Italian culture. Participants learn to prepare fresh pasta and handmade gelato using techniques passed down through generations, in a setting that reflects the neighbourhood's long-standing identity as a place where locals and visitors have always gathered around food.
