The cellar system stretches 1.5 kilometres of barrel-lined subterranean corridors, divided into 18 interactive stations, and includes a restored vintner's house dating from 1924. Fast Track tickets give access to the full experience without queuing at the entrance, making it a practical choice among things to do in Vienna and the surrounding wine region.

Visitors explore the cellars using an interactive audio guide, moving through the underground passages at their own pace and learning about the history of winemaking in the region, including a look into the cellars of the Steininger winery. The 18 stations cover the production process, the landscape, and the social history of wine culture in Lower Austria. The self-guided route takes approximately 90 minutes to complete. Entry includes access to the cellar worlds and vinotheque, a wine sampling session featuring two varieties, and juice for children. Food, additional tastings, and guided tours are not included. The experience runs for approximately 1 hour 30 minutes in total, so plan your visit accordingly and arrive a few minutes before your booked entry time to collect your audio guide and get your bearings. Your fast-track ticket means you can head straight in without queuing at the standard entrance.
Getting around the venue
The tour takes you through 1.5 km of subterranean corridors lined with barrels, passing 18 interactive stations, a vintner's house from 1924, and the modern vinotheque above ground. Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes as the underground passages can be uneven and cool. The audio guide leads you at your own pace, so there is no need to keep up with a group.
