Your experience Design and create your own jeans while experiencing a part of Japan's renowned denim craftsmanship. Getting started Arrive at Betty Smith Ebisu Workshop and present your mobile vouc
The Betty Smith Jeans-Making Experience is a hands-on workshop in Tokyo where participants design and sew a pair of jeans from start to finish. Betty Smith is a Japanese denim brand with roots in Kojima, Okayama, the region credited with establishing Japan's denim manufacturing tradition. The workshop brings that craft to Tokyo, giving participants direct access to the techniques and materials associated with Japanese selvedge and raw denim production.
Over the session, guests select their fabric, cut their pattern, and work through the construction of a finished pair of jeans under instructor guidance. The process covers stitching, riveting, and finishing details, so no prior sewing experience is required. Participants leave with a wearable, custom-made garment. Tickets cover the full workshop session, all materials including denim fabric and hardware, and use of the workshop's equipment. Booking is available for individuals and small groups, with sessions running at the Ebisu location in Tokyo.
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start time.
