The Lahbab Red Dune Desert Buggy Adventure is an off-road driving experience set among the red sand dunes of the Lahbab desert, roughly 45 kilometres south-east of Dubai city. Participants drive a dune buggy across open desert terrain, navigating the natural rises and troughs of one of the UAE's most dramatic sand landscapes. The red dunes in this area reach heights that make them a well-established destination for off-road and motorsport activities.

The experience runs for one hour, with a two-hour option also available at booking. On arrival at the dune buggy centre, guests are fitted with safety gear and briefed by a desert guide before heading out onto the dunes.

What to expect

After the safety briefing, drivers take their buggies out across the Lahbab dunes, following a route that covers open sand flats and steeper dune faces. The terrain allows for powersliding and speed runs across the sand formations. A photo stop is included partway through, positioned at an elevated dune with open desert views in multiple directions. Guides accompany the group throughout the drive. Tickets cover the buggy hire, safety equipment, and guide for the chosen duration. Pickup and drop-off from Dubai hotels are not included, so guests arrange their own transport to the starting point.
