The Lisbon Guided E-Bike Tour is a three-hour small-group cycling tour of the Portuguese capital, departing on foot from 16 Rua dos Douradores in the Baixa district. Riders cover three of the city's most characterful neighbourhoods, Alfama, Chiado, and Baixa, navigating the steep gradients that make Lisbon notoriously difficult on a standard bicycle. The electric bikes are fitted to different heights and experience levels, each model chosen for the city's uneven terrain, so the hills that defeat most walkers become straightforward on two wheels.
The route passes the Sé de Lisboa Cathedral, one of the oldest buildings in the city, and climbs to elevated vantage points including the National Pantheon and the São Vicente de Fora Monastery, both of which offer wide panoramic views across the rooftops and the Tagus estuary. A live guide provides commentary on Lisbon's history and culture throughout. Booking covers use of the e-bike and helmet, a poncho in case of rain, a safety briefing, and both liability and injury insurance. Entry to monuments along the route, hotel transfers, and food and drinks are not included. The tour runs for approximately three hours and operates subject to a before-date cancellation policy.
