The Mamu Tropical Skywalk is an elevated rainforest walkway in Wooroonooran National Park, south of Cairns, set within one of Australia's oldest and most biodiverse tropical rainforests. The structure rises through the forest understorey and up to a canopy-level observation tower, giving visitors an aerial perspective on a landscape that forms part of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. Entry includes an audio guide available in eight languages, covering the rainforest's plants, insects, birds, and broader ecology as you move through the structure.

The walkway begins at the Palmerston Highway and follows a path through dense jungle before reaching the tower, where panoramic views extend across the forest canopy. Interpretive content along the route covers the layered rainforest ecosystem, from ground-level ferns to the upper canopy. The site is fully wheelchair accessible. Tickets cover general admission to the skywalk and tower, with the audio guide included at no extra cost. For more things to do in Cairns and the surrounding region, the area offers a range of natural and cultural attractions worth combining with a visit here.
