Booking tickets in advance is widely recommended for skipping queues, though a few guests found the entry process less smooth than expected. The site can get busy, and some felt the price was steep relative to what is on offer.

  • “The castle was great and audio guide on phone was superb. I actually thought the audio guide in English was much better than other the English speaking tour guides we took. Some guides have a huge accent which make it difficult to understand certain words. Gave the history and background! Loved the upper level of the castle with fabulous views! Totally recommend the castle if you love historical edifices!!!”
