關於此場地
Largo Alfredo Dinis is a waterfront square in the Cacilhas district of Almada, directly across the Tagus from Lisbon, and serves as the home berth of the Frigate D. Fernando II e Glória, one of the last surviving wooden sailing frigates in the world. The vessel, now a floating museum, was built in Damão in 1843 and served the Portuguese Navy for decades before being restored and opened to the public. Visitors board the frigate to explore its gun decks, officers' quarters, and rigging, gaining a direct sense of nineteenth-century naval life under the Portuguese flag.
The square itself sits at the edge of the Tagus estuary, with views across to the Lisbon waterfront and the 25 de Abril Bridge overhead. The Frigate D. Fernando II e Glória is the centrepiece of the site and draws visitors interested in maritime heritage, Portuguese colonial history, and the age of sail. The experience combines open-air riverside surroundings with the remarkable scale and detail of a fully restored man-of-war.
