SUMMIT One Vanderbilt

SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is an immersive observation and art experience occupying the upper floors of One Vanderbilt Avenue, the supertall skyscraper that rises directly above Grand Central Terminal in Midtown Manhattan. Completed in 2020 and designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox, the tower stands at 1,401 feet and its SUMMIT experience spans four floors near the apex, combining glass-enclosed observation decks with large-scale mirror and glass installations by artists including Kenzo Digital. The result is a space where architecture, art, and panoramic views of New York City merge into a single continuous environment.

Visitors can choose from several ways to experience SUMMIT, including a standard entry ticket, a guided tour with skip-the-line access, a dedicated night experience, and the Ascent option, which takes guests to an open-air glass cabin suspended above the main floors. Each offers a distinct perspective on the Manhattan skyline, from the Hudson River to the East River, with the Empire State Building and Chrysler Building visible at close range.
