Tibidabo Amusement Park

Tibidabo Amusement Park sits at the summit of the Collserola ridge, 512 metres above Barcelona, making it one of the most unusually situated amusement parks in Europe. The park takes its name from the Latin phrase attributed to the hill in Christian tradition, and its history stretches back to 1901, giving it a claim to being among the oldest continually operating amusement parks in the world. Rides and attractions are arranged across terraced levels of the hillside, with panoramic views over the city, the Mediterranean coastline, and on clear days, the mountains beyond.

The park blends its heritage fairground character with more modern attractions, and the iconic Avio aeroplane ride, which has been in operation since 1928, remains one of its most recognisable features. The Torre de Collserola telecommunications tower, designed by Norman Foster, rises nearby and is visible from much of the park. Entry tickets are currently available, giving visitors access to the grounds and the full range of rides and attractions across the site.
